Just yesterday was talking about this with my sister and turned out to be true; it's about Aliens and their supposed intervention with natural phenomena, and now that I think about it, it kinda makes sense.
Legend has it that, in Tampico, the mostest Northeastern state in Mexico, more precisely in Miramar Port, there was a UFO crash in the site, back in the late 50s and Tampico's people helped the aliens instead of doing whatever the US&A does with illegal aliens.
Aliens thanked Tampico's people and stablished a submarine base which people called "Amupac" (whatever that means), and aliens promised that they would protect Tampico from ever getting hit by a tropical storm.
Ever since the supposed alien submarine base got finished in the mid 60's, Tampico got hit by it's last tropical storm in 1967, and never ever since.
This story gained popularity once again couple days ago because Tropical Storm "Alberto", which coincidentally was supposed to pass through Tampico this morning, and the bitch deviated completely avoiding Tampico in it's entirety.
This was supposed to be the estimated route (above), but it's now below Tampico, in the state of San Luis Potosí:
What the fuck?
