Hacking akmenu4.nds won't work

hi, i recently bought an acekard 2i, and i followed all the directions, but for some reason, the "akmenu4.nds" won't work?? i'm not sure why this is happening, so i'm asking for some help....i screenshot what it looks like: http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h202/xpa...ng?t=1288228304, you might have to zoom in to see what it looks like. it keeps saying "window's can't open this file"...

and i was so excited too! lol help me, please!

Download Akaio, Extract it to the root of your card, Delete the two text files.... Profit?

Did you try putting the Micro Sd (SDHC) Card into the Acekard 2i and boot it on the Ds/Lite/Dsi/Dsi XL?

I will say, windows cannot open a .nds file

Download Akaio 1.8.1

Can't help you with your problem but the official firmware hasn't been updated for quite a while so I suggest you delete those files from your micro sd and get AKAIO 1.8.1 instead.

Edit: You are trying to open akmenu4.nds in Windows?! You aren't supposed to do that.

You do not open the .nds file. Transfer the Akaio stuff to the Micro SD Card, put the Micro SD Card in the Acekard 2i and Bam. Works.

That's because it isn't supposed to be a rom file. You must be doing something wrong.

backup every game and sav file you have. format your card. download akaio 1.8.1. it comes as a rar file so you have to extract it. copy the _aio folder and akmenu4.nds to the root of the card. create a GAMES folder where the games and sav files go. it should work now. if it doesnt, the card could be a fake acekard
