Hacking AKAIO Wifi updating

My question is simple really: can you use the wifi updating (in akaio) when you have WPA protection instead of WEP. (I'm asking this since the games can't be played with WPA)

you can't either with a hidden SSID.

You assume right, WPA is a DSi only feature no DS game official or homebrew can use it.
