Hacking akaio update

Any clue when the new loader update for akaio will be released? I have dl'd some newer roms and I don't know how to patch them (some are "patched", but they won't run).

that doesnt work for all games or sd cards.... so ..... it needs to be updated is the point.. the ap works for sum but not for all..

It works for all games with my mSD card, except "18 card games". That's the only ROM that doesn't work with Akaio 1.8.1 that I know about.

You know, you can get a working mSD card for $6-8. I don't really see the point.

im sure Normmatt's working on those fixes. requesting when a loader comes out won't help.

Not sure if I wanted to play it, but that won't work for "Battle of Giants - Dragons". Also 007 runs really slow... not playable...

I don't get why people are bitching about an update. Every rom I tried has worked perfectly. The only problem I'm having is with soft reset but everything else is working perfectly.

If a ROM is lagging (such as the inventory screen in pokemon platinum), your microsd is a piece of shit and you need to buy a new one, preferably from an actual store. This would be causing other games to not run at all, as well. You should be aiming for a class-4, but preferably a class-6. Transcend and A-DATA are known good brands.

My micro SD card is a 4GB SanDisk. Not sure what class it is rated. How would I find out?... Threw away package... Would the lag have anything with me still rocking the original DS? Anybody else had this problem?

The class should be printed on the card itself. 2/4/6 are the common ones.

No, the lag isn't because of your DS model.
