Stick to M3i Zero or SCDSONEi (I wish I had, as I give myself a facepalm!).
I just received a new AK2i..and it won't update to work on DSi FW 1.4A. Sticks on 0% progress for update. I've tried both update files on 2 DSL & 1 Phat, all to no avail.
Looks like 'they' must be shipping either old stock (initial 2i cart was not updateable?), a dud, or a fake.....who knows - certainly not me.

Oh well, I guess @ $14.46 delivered to Australia in 10 days, it might get a 'run' as a backup for the DSL & Phat.

Where did you buy your acekard 2i from? It could be fake, only buy the AK's from trusted reputable sellers.
DX, allegedly a trusted seller - I used the 'back door' method (through reviews section) of ordering it on 8th Jan.

i am going to buy m3i zero but i have a problem... i want the original not the fake... any trusted shop???(in europe plz)

wrong place to ask?there are no M3i Zero clones(as far as i know) so any store you go should be real(M3 Simply was not made by the M3 team,it's just another R4 clone, don't get that)

Well, Acekard is my favorite Homebrew kit so I use it the most. The m3i Zero is great but I prefer the acekard because of the simple ease of use, compatibility and a great team and community behind it.

I own an AceKard and a M3i Zero, they are both great cause you have great homebrew compatibility on the AceKard and faster updates, but the M3i Zero has the moonshell integrated natively so you can use your DSi as a portable media player...!!

Hello.

Can se this is an old thread, but every thing gose forvard.

Am going to buy a DSi XL/LL Europen version and i need to know whats recomended now.

Have used the old R4 and DSTT liked the dstt better, the cheatcodes didnt have the same limit.

But how is it now? I just want to play games an use the camera and use the cheatcodes.

I like my AK2i. If you really want GBA and Good Snes emulation then go for the super card, but if you just want an easy to use flash cart then go with the acekard

Not taking the price into account, the Super Card DS TWO, but for someone on a small budget, AK2i. I don't know how good Super Card's game compatibility, but with AKAIO on the Acekard, game compatibility is excellent.

if the point of you getting a flash linker is to actually play games, the acekard can't be beat. not even the fact that it's best firmware/loaders are made by an unofficial team can mess with that.

The best DSi Flashcart is definately the Supercard DSTWO

Too expensive imo, Acekard is brilliant at what it does. EZVi is also pretty good, if you want RTS and in game guide for a bit more.

There is no doubt that SCDStwo is the best flashcart. It has a powerful cpu that can enable dsi to paly gba games. And SFC Emulation is coming soon.
And it has very fast updates.

I'd say the AK2i is currently the best value flashcart on the market. If you really think you'll use the DSTwo's features (and I have no need for them) and you're willing to pay the premium, then it's the best card on the market.

For the cheapest value, the AK2i is great. If you have a little more than 2.5 times the money that an AK2i costs (~$14) then buy a SCDSTWO (~$35), it has some excellent additional value that you don't get with an AK2i. I love my AK2i and I'm glad I bought it to run my NDS games on. I'm enjoying my SCDSTWO with my GBA AND NDS games now.
