Its been about a week since I picked up my DS and all of a sudden every save file I have on my Ak2i is corrupted. Each of the save files read 516kb instead of the normal 512kb, is there anyone here that can help a guy out.

*using akaio 1.5.1

WARNING! WINDOWS DS CANNOT READ SAVE FILES.
CRITICAL ERROR AT 0X800000
READ ERROR AT 0X0800001
WRITE ERROR AT 0X800002

**WINDOWS DS HAS ENCOUNTERED A CRITICAL ERROR AND DIED**

THINGS TO TRY:
BACKUP ROMS AND REFORMAT MICRO SD
DELETE GLOBALSETTINGS.INI
REMOVE AKAIO 1.5.1 AND DOWNGRADE TO AKAIO 1.5
DOUBLE CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR ACEKARD2I IS A LEGITIMATE ONE AND NOT A CLONE
DOWNLOAD AKAIO 1.5.1 AGAIN FROM: WWW.NORMMATT.COM/FORUM/

TECHNACAL DATA:
0xAKAIO1.5.1_CAN_BE_GAY_AT_TIMES_THIS_IS_WHY_I_DID_NOT_UPGRADE_TO_IT_DUH.

^That is what Windows XP says...LOL^

OMG I JUST GOT PWNT BY HATSU ROFL!
It is not SPAM!
If you READ THE ERROR DATA it will TELL YOU WHAT TO DO.

#Important things are in CAPS LOCK cuz I don't know how to use flavor text.

-=Breakdown=-
You could try reformating your microSD card with Panosonic SD formatter program.
You could check to see if your Acekard2i is not a fake
You could re-download AKAIO 1.5.1 from www.normmatt.com/forum/
You could check to see if you have the latest LOADERS
Or you could just downgrade back to the STABLE AKAIO 1.5 with the last loaders in December 2009(That's what I've been using now.)

Its not akaio, I did some more testing last night with the save files. All of them have been changed to 516kb instead of 512. When I attempted to run them with no$gba they did not work as well. I believe that something corrupted the .sav's and I may have to start over on all my games. If you know any fixed please let me know.

This happened to me, too. I think when I used chkdsk on Windows, it changed those files' sizes to what it thought to be correct. Either that, or when I was playing the games, my card had already been corrupted, and that's why only the games I played recently had this problem, because they were being written to a disk improperly(which is probably why they were fine until I connected the card to my PC). Nothing else would make sense in this situation.

1). Don't bump old threads.
2). http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=6027 Set the Format Type to FULL under Options.
