Hacking AK2 - bat batch - Still ?

I sent mine off to dealextereme today. I should get my replacement in about 3 weeks frown.gif and hopefully this one will last for more than 2 days.

i got my replacement back from DX for my defective acekard2 yesterday i received a scdsone which im happy with ive got the Bliss Multi-Bootloader on with the TTmenu 1.13 & YSmenu everythings working fine

hmm there was supposed to be some change with skins i think where older ones might not work fully - cant rememeber where i read but pretty sure i did.

You can also just open the globalsettings.ini file in the \__AK2\ folder and specify a working theme.

Ahh I didn't know that.That makes it even easier.

yeah its handy to know - sometimes if you delete the 3 stock skins, something happens to change global.ini to refer to one of them.
makes the card freeze with blue/green screens

i just put stayalive ds onto one of the ak2's and on boot up i got the fat error again. seems that no amount of pulling, prodding, or reinserting fixes the error. i wish the kids parents weren't so cheap i would have recomended better cards for them.

it looks like we should all stay away from the ak2 for now and stop trying to wish for a working kit. seems like there are either still problems or old shipments going around.

no, us brits do call stuff bats, but only for baseball bats and cricket bats. for other sports like tennis, badminton... we call it rackets.
