Hacking AK .cc files

What are the Acekard .cc files, and do I need them if I want to copy them onto another Acekard? Like, I know to copy the .nds.sav files but I'm not too sure about the .cc files. So what are they?

EDIT-I think they're cheat files which I can always redo. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You are correct that the cc files are created when you select which cheats you enable per game.
