So this is a strange video showcasing Super Mario 64 "on" the PS1, i think i saw it years ago but was reminded about it again when it was briefly featured in a Kaze Emanuar video
Honestly the way PS1 games look has always interested me, the main factor being the affine texture mapping (which causes the textures to be warped a lot). This looks authentic at first BUT... it looks nearly identical to the original SM64 on N64, which would probably be a nightmare to port onto PS1 hardware (nobody had done it when this video was uploaded and probably not now), except with the texture mapping effect, which is incredibly extreme here, no PS1 game ever looked that bad
With that in mind i think this is most likely just a graphics plugin running on some emulator, but the question is what plugin even is this, how is it even working. Sorry if this posts sounds really stupid but i was just wondering because i would toy around with it if i could
