I have recently dusted off my PS3, and to my surprise everything still works pretty good.
Currently it has Rogero 4.55 CFW, and I use Multiman (not sure what version)
I have tried installing some more recent titles, and am getting a prompt to update firmware to 4.60 or above.

I was wondering if I should update to a newer CFW like Rebug, and if so I had a few questions.

Which version should I get ? I want to be able to still launch games from Multiman without issue.
Is it as simple as just downloading it to usb and updating firmware from the system menu ?
Also, I have heard of Webman, but have no idea if I should be using it? Is it an alternative to MM, is it better?"

Any advice would help greatly. I have tried searching, but it honestly gets confusing with all the talk of cex/dex, QA flag, etc.
If someone could just give me the "for dummies" version, it would help a lot.

If I'm not mistaken, Cex would stand for CONSUMER product, which is the ones sold in stores for people to buy, while the Dex are for development purposes, the ones game developers use with accessible debug tools for testing games on as they make them.

This page may be helpful to you. It should have enough info to answer your questions. :)

Ferrox 4.83 CFW is running really good for me.
