Hacking Adventure Time framerate?

So im getting framerate issues playing the Adventure Time rom. I won't say what site i got it from but they've been pretty good before so i dont think its the rom dump itself, but either way is this a known issue atm or is it just me? Ive looked for another rom just incase but i couldnt even fine one.

If its not obvious what i mean basically the game is really choppy in certain parts, in particular the first main dungeon in the rooms with the "wind" (white dots).

People with dsone and dstwo have reported this issue. Perhaps it only affects supercard? Someone mentioned it working well in clean mode, which I have tested on my dsone and it fixes the slowdown from wind. But clean mode prevents saves from working.

looks like i may have to wait for it to come out in PAL terrirtories and buy the 3DS version instead. thanks anyways man.
