I could see this working but then again i could see it failing miserably. I think it is a very bold step to step out of the traditional Advance Wars style. I just don't whether it is the right step to take. But hopefully they tone down CO powers otherwise it becomes a very one sided game especially when Bam! Dual Strike - Blizzard and Tsunami and your units have like 2 health left after that.

Ah so it wasn't a mistake!

Well I was hoping that they would bring something new to the Wars series if they did a new game but I can't say I had that in mind.

They've been technically pushing the same sort of game since the NES days. Would probably lose the "Advance" title this time around, but I reckon it'll be the same game but with more "realistic" themes and online.

I hope they go back to the old art style, I think everyone loved it and was one of the best points of the game. But the long plot sequences etc I could live without, I don't really give a crap about the plots, I just want to play the game.

Yeah, the dialogue was extremely embarrassing. I don't understand why none of the previous games had that dialogue and then suddenly they felt the need to put some Aaron Carter clone in the game to appeal to who... white guy wannabe rappers or something?

I really like the cartoon style of advanced wars,
i'd like them to keep the style just the way it is..
but it does look alright, im open to it......
just so long they don't turn it into a 'bomberman act zero'

Not as bad as i thought they would be, i quite like it. Looking at those it seems like it keeps the same art style but more gritty and slightly realistic.

That's what all the fuss is about?

It's the exact same style with a lot more detail.

It's the same face lift that should be expected of any game series after a few sequels.

Looks good and I'll be waiting for it.

Yeah, I'm with Heatman after seeing those screens. That's nothing like Panzer.

I actually like the new colouring scheme. It does add a different sort of feel to the game, and looks neat.
