I used nopaystation v.94 browser to download PSP games using pkg2zip v2.1 with -x -p {pkgFile} "{zRifKey}" to get the PSP EBOOT.PBP. I put the npdrm_free.prx plugin in the ux0: pspemu/seplugins/ folder. I also created two text files vsh.txt and game.txt and put them in the same ux0: pspemu/seplugins/ folder each with the following text ux0:/seplugins/npdrm_free.prx 1. I then verify that the Adrenaline VSH recovery menu show the npdrm_free.prx plugin for VSH and GAME currently Enabled.

When I try to run the PSP game I get the following error message "The game could not be started (80010087). I have tried many PSP and PSP minis EBOOT.PBP games and they all give me the same error message.

Note: I have a Vita 3.68 with h-encore. PSP iso and cso files work just fine. I also have the nonpdrm.skprx in my ux0: plugins/ folder.

You're doing it wrong.

Regardless of which mountpoint .../pspemu is, seplugins should ALWAYS read out as:
ms0:/seplugins/pluginname.prx

You are playing in the PSP sandbox now, after all.
SeongGino, thank you for helping me out. Your advice worked. I updated the vsh.txt and game.txt files to have the following line "ms0:/seplugins/npdrm_free.prx 1".

I was following the Youtube video NpDrm_free Adrenaline by David Black and he was using "ux0:/seplugins/npdrm_free.prx 1" instead of the correct "ms0:/seplugins/npdrm_free.prx 1".

I am still learning. Thank you for your help.

I now have the npdrm_free.prx plugin working for (PSP, Minis, PSX and NeoGeo) EBOOT.PBP games running in Adrenalines 6.6.1.

I still need help getting PC Engines (Turbografx 16) EBOOT.PBP running. All I get is a message "NOW LOADING".

Note: I am using the nopaystation v.94 browser to download PC Engines EBOOT.PBP games.

Using PC Engine EBOOT.PBP downloaded from nopaystation v.94 browser does not work on my PS Vita because it is missing the sce_sys folder. I now got it working. I used PKGJ with "Install PSP games as EBOOT files" enabled. I downloaded the PC Engine EBOOT.PBP game from PKGJ and it worked.

Excellent! That was the answer we needed. Now PC Engime games installed from PKGj work for me. Thanks!
Excelente! Esa era la respuesta que necesitábamos. Ahora sí me funcionan los juegos de PC Engime instalados desde PKGj. Gracias!

I wonder if that was the point of game streaming
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    But it's a dead end
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, people who cant download it can still play the game
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

@BigOnYa, i only have like 1 or 2 mb sec

Did you feed the hamster in your internet router? It prob died and is running slow now.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

im taking a break for today anyway

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
