Hacking Activity Log Reset

Alright, I want to reset my Activity Log without having to format the console.

Can anyone point me what I need to do?

If you delete the data in the activity log (from JKSM), how would it retrieve it again? Activity keeps its own record, meaning that it does not get the playtime from the games.

Hmm. I thought I had read somewhere that the 3DS kept a log of played titles and time spent on them on a separate file. I'm gonna try deleting it with JKSM...

Hm, JKSM doesn't provide an option to delete it's save file.

not really a good solution, since it's a missing title, you'll get system update prompts and an update will re-install the title.

I just changed the date and time on the console (I wanted Play Coins at the time ). It resets all the recorded times for each day, but I'm not sure about the title list.

And any way to recover it from a NAND backup? (And it doesn't appear on JKSM I think)

Correct, deleting Activity Log data does absolutely nothing as a record of this save data is stored in an untouchable part of your NAND.
Restoring a NAND backup reverts the nand to the state it was at the time of backing it up, but unless you wanna restart from that state of your NAND (maybe import your ticket.db and other movable files so you don't lose your games), I'd stay where you are.

That's why I deleted it. Because I was tempted to open it when it was still there.

Now it will just be installed when you update, just put it as far away as you can.

This will wipe your log and mini plaza records. Keep a nand backup if you mess up.

I used to like my +1000 hours played overall before having emuNAND... While I was setting up a9hl I fucked up and I don't have it... I miss it so much (@phalk and I couldn't be more different )

Are the activity Log and Mii Plaza data tied to each other? I ask because Gateway and or a System Transfer screws up the Activity Log so that all your Playtime on the daily log is System Settings and this tasks me.
