Hacking action replay?

Hi everyone,
I just got an Action Replay for my son's DS, and it doesn't read from his DS Linker card.
Is AR incompatible with such cards (asks for game cartridge) or is any fix out there?

The Action Replay DS will only work on actual game cartridges and not ROMs and flashcards. Most flashcards have bult in cheat systems.

What flashcard would you recommend with included cheats for Pokemon games? My boy still hasn't beaten the Pokemon League...

If you simply need 'some help' in pokemon = get pokesav. You can edit your savefile of pokemon perl//diamond with it. Changing pokemons / items etc
