Im just Wondering Why would someone be bothered to buy or make something like that when they know you can just buy a flashcard and update the .dat cheat files lol its not like the flashcards R4,Acecard Dstt etc.
are illegal?



One more question is it obiouvs that 90% of people who download roms arnt for backup reasons and they dont have the orginal

Same reason you wanted a GameShark as a kid: to cheat a legit cart.


As for the final question: there are still those 10% of people who do use it for the right reasons.

Usually people without knowledge of flashcarts will buy an AR.

And while flash carts can be used to apply some cheats to retail carts (though the nitrocheat or whatever homebrew) it does not work on a DSi/XL (as they don't cart swap properly).
