Gaming ACNL - Double Letter Glitch?

I'm not exactly sure how this happened, but I got duplicates of a few letters this morning when I played. All these letters had presents, so I dunno if that's the cause or not. I got a duplicate of an item I bought from Redd, one from a visiting neighbor, and a couple from the campground. I'm sure this has something to do with the new update as this has never happened before. Also, I haven't attempted to use NTR with the new update yet so that wouldn't be the cause. Has this happened to anyone else?

I don't really know how I would take a screenshot since you can't capture two simultaneous items reliably. I mean, here's the two items sent to me from Redd (Motherly Statue), but you'd just have to take my word that I didn't duplicate it myself. Also no, I haven't edited my save in any way.

Well, it happened again. I got sent an item from the campground for the third time. I dunno why.

It happened to me too. I got duplicates of the Post office letter with the box of tissues on my first day after starting a new town.

Yeah. Right after I saved, quit, and restarted the game after selling my old town, I received two boxes of tissues.
