It’s not their firmware. Says you can load atmosphere, ReiNX, or sxos. All of that can be updated. I’m sure that you can replace firmwares too. Just like all the other dongles.

You are confusing AceNS with AceNS Pro. For Pro there is no info about compability with the other ones and it's using boot.dat just like SX OS and they have issues with external payloads.
And I'm talking about paying someone who is new in scene for something that looks like rebranded SX. You have no guarantee that their license is compatible with SX.

The only reason I can see someone buying this (in noob fashion) is for the dongle, which does look cooler than sx's. But you can get a similar looking dongle on aliexpress for $10-12 (or less). I would never advise getting this over sx, even if it was half the price, for many of the reasons others have mentioned.

But sx dongle is so small and compact and feel high quality

the coolest is still the SX Pro, I've got a SX Pro dongle and a R4 dongle and I've seen many of the other brick size ones, but still the smallest and best looking one is the SX Pro. people I've showed it to are amazed at the size of it.

True, I haven't even gotten my aliexpress one yet so I wouldn't know. I know a lot of people like the joy-con matching look. Also I guess some are saying that a battery powered dongle is better and more reliable than the sx dongle that uses capacitors. I've never had a problem with mine though. I mainly got an extra one because it looks cool and can be a backup in case something happens to my sx one.

Earlier today, I took a in-depth look at the ACEOS v1.0 which was released on their website to go along with their new AceNS Pro dongle.

And its a poor hacked up malfunctioning copy of much earlier SX OS BETA, with various older bugs in it along with newer ones, it will not correctly support any future update, nor does it support running things like SX Installer and other newer apps, and in my tests, it quickly corrupted my MicroSD card even when it was formatted as FAT32.

I would not recommend this option even on my worse friend, if you're not going to spend the little extra money that it costs to get a real authorized/licenesed and working stable SX OS release with future FREE updates, I rather see Switch users opting-out of this pile of junk and just use ReiNX or another free CFW, then this poorly hacked up job that Ace team clearly quickly put together, with the end result being a broken job at trying to clone an outdated SX OS for their users, without even supplying any proper support or testing it first in making sure it at least works before releasing it into the wild.

Stay clear away from this latest poorly planned marketing trick by Ace3ds to get a bit more sales for their overpriced dongles.

Ace3ds team is a famous crack team and i have payed attention to them when they released ace3ds plus. I think firmware of AceOS will be updated continuously. Most of customers use exFAT microSD without any issue. Looking forwards to AceOS new updates

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the lack of updates again, been busy busy busy with work and the holidays.

I'll post a big update soon with more details, but for now, please enjoy this video of the first ever 100% working DragonInjector prototype.



What does this mean?

- No more worries about project completion. (Yay!)
- No more revisions. (Double yay!)
- Tester units shipped before the end of the month. (All of the yays!)

Some quick notes for those who don't follow the Discord:

- The DI will be offered in Black and Translucent Green at launch.
- The DI will be offered with a choice of two supported firmwares:
- - - - Mattytrog's excellent ATSAMD21 firmware which makes use of the buttons for payload selection.
- - - - Guillem96's excellent ArgonNX firmware which launches a fancy touch GUI on the Switch for selecting your payload.
- The design of the RCM jig has been updated slightly to make it safer to use, with a little bump to keep it in place better. (See renders below!)

but it is not a new product.. it is just bootleg sx os with a skin.
