Hacking Acekard2i Work on DSi XL?

Hey people. I bought an Acekard for my DSL a while ago, but I got myself a DSi XL yesterday therefore I am now interested in buying the Acekard2i.

I am just wondering if right out of the box, this will work on the DSi XL? If yes, then I am buying one tonight.

Hopefully someone can help me out with this!

Yes.. but u may need to update the acekard using dsl... like i did, otherwise it works.

What do you mean updating the acekard using DSL? its not like just downloading the acekard files off acekard.com?

no, it's a special update to firmware to work on new dsi firmwares

I'm going to take GameStop's great deal on trading in my DS Lite or DSi...
Wait, will it work if my NINTENDO DSi is broken? I have an broken inside camera from... a various liquid...

I looked on Dealextreme and it is possible they do not keep them in stock anymore? A search for Acekard gave nothing! I some good deals in Canada(Where i'm at). 19.99 genuine + free shipping.

Just need to do that update when it would come in.

should I wait if there is a new Acekard that will be compatible with 1.4 right off the bat?

I would suggest purchasing an acekard and performing the update for 1.4 compatibility.

well I found 0shippingzone.com has it for 16.45, apparently authentic (the are listed on acekard's site) AND they do the update for you. Veryyyy handy and cheap i gotta say!

I got my DSi XL for free at Best Buy! They had an offer that you traded 5 games and you got it free!
I traded 3 Xbox 360 games(Army of two:40th day, Batman A:A, and Ghostbusters), and 2 DS games (Zelda P-H, Pokemon Diamond).

I HATE trading in games, but I told myself "Why not?" lol

I contacted 0shippingzone.com and they said that they update the Acekard2i before they send it to you, so you won't have to do anything once you get it! and their shipping is free!

Done!. Bought from 0shippingzone! 17.5$ total with the shipping insurance, and they update it to 1.4 for me, so i can't go wrong!
