If you're too lazy to type out the error message you're getting, then why should people bother to help you?
When you're asking people for help, don't make them beg for the details of your problem.

So to recap... you have another dsi with 1.4 or lower and that works with the AK2i correct?
You then downloaded this:

Inside that zip folder there is two files named "ak2ifw_update_141_DSi.nds" and "ak2ifw_update_141_DSL.nds"
You put those on your memory card like a regular game.
With the dsi that works with the AK2i play the file name "ak2ifw_update_141_DSi.nds"
A black screen pops up and follow the on screen directions to update the card.
Test it on your dsi 1.41.
If works, you can and is recommended you delete the two files
If it don't work then you are doing something wrong.

Skratchie, follow either one of these guides, using a DSL, or your DSi that has firmware LESS than 1.4.1, and you'll be fine:
