Hacking AceKard2i + EZ-Flash 3 in 1

Hi guys, I've recently bought a 3 in 1 pak, but i've got a question. I use AKAIO naturaly.
The GBA titles are looking strange and I can barely decipher them to play a game.
Can i change this or do i have to live with it?

Also, what do the following options in the 3 in 1 screen mean?

- NOR Mode
- Backup GBA save at startup
- Prompt before Save/Load
- GBA Universal sleep

Everytime i boot a GBA rom, i get the following messages:
- Backup XXX.gba.sav
Should I accept this?

In short:

NOR mode - auto means games smaller than 16MB will be loaded into the 3in1's ram which is much faster. (I leave this on auto)

Backup at startup - copies the sav data from the 3in1's battery-backed memory chip automatically. (turn this on, it's safe.)

Prompt before save/load - this is what gives you that prompt. Say yes when prompted, it will help ensure you don't lose any gba saves. (I have this setting set to no so it doesn't bother me with the save prompt, it just backups up automatically.)

GBA Universal sleep - turns on or off a key combo... not sure really if it's useful. (I have mine set to off / disabled.)
