Hacking AceKard2i 3DS 4.2 update

When I first bought my 3DS I accidently updated it to 4.2, before I updated my AceKard2i.

Today, I heard that there is an update for AceKard2i that will make it work on 3DS v4.2, so I downloaded it, and then, with my DSL, I updated my card.

Will the updated card work on my 3DS? (I updated my 3DS BEFORE this card) Because I'm afraid that my 3DS won't work at all...

Well, I did the same stupid thing you did (will never EVER do it again, luckily I also have an R4i gold 3DS that worked) and I also updated my acekard 2i using a DSL. as long as you updated it correctly, you should be fine,mine worked perfectly.
