Just been recommended this over my old well worn R4 - not sure where to buy one in UK.
Any suggestions appreciated...

Well.. my AceKard2i came from GameKool the other day and no problems with it (aside from a slightly crushed corner of the box, but that's most likely due to the Post Office. Shipping time was listed as 7~14 days, I got it on the 8th or 9th day I believe.

Another good place is ShopTemp, but I have not dealt with them personally.


Both places offer low prices and free shipping.

ShopTemp supports GBAtemp and has good prices, also Ive seen many good things about ShopTemp around the forums, only one negative comment I saw was that someone thought there M3i Zero was broken because they did not know how to flash it.

Shoptemp is a good place to buy an Acekard 2i right now.
Using this coupon it'll only cost $11.50, that's £7.47! They also have an option to flash it to 1.4, for a little extra.
Free shipping is supposed to take about 2 weeks but there are reports of it being just a week.
But since you're in the UK, and that pesky Volcanic Ash Cloud is delaying orders...

Yeah, might be better to order from 7dayshop considering the Ash Cloud crisis.

if you have a ds phat/lite i would get the ak2.1 from 0shippingzone.com. they are stocking the new card (which uses the old design). this design has no known issues. the 2.1 has a much better build than the 2i, fewer contact and msd issues.

there is also gbatemp's shoptemp.net. they offer a 6 month return policy.
