Hacking Acekard update fail

Ok so i just got a acekard 2i in the mail and so i got my brothers dsi to upgrade it for my 3ds. So after the update procses I update my brothers dsi to 1.4.3 and the update image instead of being a boxing glove/pink angle thing is alex stormrider. so I was wondering if this is my fault due to updating the acekard to 1.4.3 on a dsi that was just updated to 1.4 not 1.4.2. Or if its something else. Help :?

you used the wrong bootloader update, or the update failed and that was what was on there to begin with.

Did use that zip. and the update succeeded. BTW the icon the acekard was before i updated it was a chess game.

if you used that update then the ak2i will display the icon for dorasu. if you don't see the dorasu icon the you did not use that update. there aren't two ways to go about this, that updated flashes the dorasu game as the bootloader and does nothing else.
