Oh all it does is to launch the 3 In 1 tool if 3 in 1 is in the drive . There is a version that someone made that makes it work like the M3 real (when you hit GBA file it will flash it to the 3 in 1) check the AK team forum

So, when you turn the DS on, it boots into rudolphs 3in1 tool? Isn't that only saving you the one step of manually launching the file yourself?

I think there is more . try it with GBA link and see if it works (I haven't seen the release notes yet)
