Look, it'll come out when it's ready. AW stated that the official AK Team got the DEC 09 fix from the AKAIO Team and implemented it into their firmware. He also said AKAIO 1.6RC3 is in its final beta stages and should be out in a couple of days, that was on April 27th. It should be out soon so please don't ask and BE PATIENT. How'd you like if people began pestering you when your product was going to be released? I know you're excited, a lot of people are but be patient.

The reason he asked is because many people have a constant need for the next firmware, rc, beta, kernal or whatever your flashcart needs. I have that problem as well.

Normmatt, well, that guy doesn't seem very friendly sometimes. Right on AKAIO's front page, even, it says:

Welcome to AKAIO Palace..... Now piss off!

Before RC2 came out, I remember a lot of guys asking (And not whining, just asking) for the release date because all the new games weren't working. And that kind of ticked off Normmatt when he finally did release it:

So for future reference, even when we're all antsy about AKAIO's release, it's usually best to just keep it to ourselves, if not only to stop Normmatt from blowing our houses down.

In a nutshell, RC3 is supposed to fix the problems with the "Bad Batch" of Acekard 2.1s that were released from Dec 09 to Roughly Mar 10.

For those of us who have The "bad Batch" RC3 is going to be a big deal. For everyone else, it might not seem as important.
Though, ever since the new Official Firmware came out that implemented AKAIO's fix, I haven't been as antsy.

Yeah true but I don't give a fuc* these kinda topics are annoying. Sure I would like to be able to play a game on my rpg that I cannot right now too but akaio versions are released when the developers release them. If waiting is a big deal then bug the acekard team, we paid them for the hardware not the people making akaio. Akaio team don't owe us shit. Show them some gratitude for what we have already and f-in chill. They could turn around now say fuc* u and that would be the end of it..
