Hacking Acekard 2i not working on N3DS.

I have a hacked NEW 3DS XL. I've stumbled upon an old Acekard 2i I have which I've never used (my DS Lite broke as soon as I got it a few years ago).

I've extracted the files from "AKAIO_1.9.0.7z" to the root of an 8GB microSD and inserted it in the acekard,

but I can't acess the flashcart in the 3DS's menu. What am I doing wrong?

Do other ds games work correctly for your console when you try them? Or is it just this one Ds cart thats odd?

Yeah, I've just tested Metroid Prime Hunters and it works fine. When I insert the Acekard 2i cart nothing shows up.

Guess so and nope u need a system that will boot it without a blacklist in the way and that's a ds/lite

Of course Luma3DS gets rid of the blacklist. Acekard 2i works just fine on CFW 3DS. The contents of the micro-SD inside the Acekard has no impact on it showing up in menu or not.
Try if you can access something in [C:] GAMECART with GodMode9.

Trying another console, preferably a DS Lite or DS "Phat" is not a bad idea.

Lastly: The flashcart firmware (not the kernel on the micro-SD) might be bricked if you did experiments with it or have a borked upgrade.

It was a contact issue. I need to give it a little push for it to work, and even so, sometimes it doesn't. There's something odd, though: Sometimes a Danny Phantom icon shows up, while other times it shows the Acekard icon. Which one should it be? Does it matter?



Edit: It's working perfectly after that little push and cleaning the cart's contacts with rubbing alcohol! Is it necessary to update the cart's firmware?

I dont know how to explain because english its not my native language. You need to cut thin paper and put it below attached on your acekard 2i contacts. Dont glue it,it attaches itself.
