Hacking acekard 2i loads an error message on all DS's

hi i have a acekard 2i that loads an error message every time i boot it up on any DSi or lite no matter the firmware be it 1.3 or 1.4 can anyone help me out

the error message i get is "an error has occurred. press and hold the power button to turn the system off please see Nintendo DSi operations manual for help troubleshooting"

Ive tried the unbricking procedure but when i eject the my wife's acekard then loaded the bad one in it doesn't do anything when i press B

Maybe I'm wrong, but is that the error from using a non-1.4 flashcart on a 1.4 DSi?

Given that DSi is in the error message, I can't see how you would be getting in on a DS Lite.

Yes, that's the error message you get when you attempt to use a non updated Acekard on a DSi which has Firmware 1.4.

It doesn't do anything when you press (B) because it needs to be performed on a DS Lite or DS PHat, as in the guide. The DSi won't allow you to swap carts, and it just sit there on the screen which asks you to press (B) after swapping carts.
