Homebrew Acekard 2i issue

I'm trying to get my niece's Acekard 2i to work.

The problem I'm having is that the card loads up just fine, but when I select a game it goes to the loading screen without actually loading. It just stays in the loading screen.

I have the latest Acekard firmware 4.17

EDIT: I just checked with a different card and her MicroSD card works just fine. So the issue with the loading is that it is card. Why does it go to the game list just fine, but I can't get it to actually load the game I pick.

Another thing I noticed was that her card has a solid card front, but mine has a chip exposed on the front.

format the msd using the panasonic formatter.
install akaio 1.4.1 proper. (read the wiki)
update to the newest loaders (read the wiki for instructions).
