Hacking acekard 2.1 the improvements?

Are there significant improvements? Is the build sturdier?

It doesn't have a hole in it (the chip doesn't protrude through the shell) so maybe slightly more sturdy, but otherwise the build quality is the same as the previous version. Operationally, it is exactly the same. It's supposed to do a little bit better on battery life but I haven't tested that to see if it's true.

mainly.....it doesn't die out as much as the previous ones.

many people had their AK2 stop working after a week to a months use. some also had DOA cards.



and even if there was a battery improvement, I doubt it would be major. maybe something like a few minutes tops.

the new design will not suffer from the old problems, it is completly solved. although DOA is another matter. the controller chip is also different on the 2.1. cheaper and faster.
