I've been experiencing this problem for a while now using my M3. In several games and not only Pokemon, whenever I access (by poking or pressing A) the WiFi option (the icon is usually the antenna thing), the game freezes and the yellow light (the one signaling that the DS is on) starts blinking.
I have updated my firmware recently (v 4.7f), but the problem continues.
Also, in using my original Pokemon Diamond, it freezes upon startup (selecting New Game or Continue or any other option). Also in the menu after the title screen, the yellow light is already blinking. This did not happen before I got my M3.
