So yeah like stated in the other topic. Tried firmware version 3 and 4.

Both work in an AGB 001 but not in my gba SP 101.

This while the same micro SD cards in combination with an EZ FLASH IV works perfectly fine on my GBA SP 101.

GBA AGB 001: SUCCESS
GBA Micro: SUCCESS
Nintendo DS Lite: SUCCESS
3 other GBA SP's AGS 001: SUCCESS

GBA SP AGS 101: FAIL :(

It would be nice if you could communicate if you have any clue on how to fix this. Because me and other people are stuck with a card we can't use. Because for me personally I don't give a single thing about it working in the other devices, because I don't use those devices. My prefered retro gaming device is the GBA SP 101.

And if there is no solution it would be nice if you could make an official statement on your website so we can reference to that when we try to return our product to china or whatever...

I have the issue on firmware 1.02T4 as well as on 1.02T5. Kernel 3 and 4 are both affected.

I only use clean roms.

I don't seem to have any issue. I'm on an AGS-101, clean roms, FW:4, K:1.02

I do have to mention that once my sd card got corrupted because I shut down too quickly. Is there a way for that to never happen? I'm super scared of accidentally shutting my card off right before saving and loosing everything. :/

Just received mine and just read that there are ags-101 issues. Hugely disappointed. Tried it with latest fimware, 3 different sd-cards. But i get a "Micro SD Initial Error" in recovery and normal mode.

I'm sorry to let you meet this problem

The type of this GBA SP is AGS-101 EUR?

Do you have other GBA compatible devices that can be used for testing the card?

Yes, it's an AGS-101 EUR. Sadly i don't have any other gba devices to test it on.

Well it seems i was at fault by using a bad card reader. Bought a decent one now and every sd card that failed in the past, now works. I played Final Fantasy VI for around 30 minutes which seems to work and save fine. Still have to test it with a longer gaming session. But if you're stuck with the "Micro SD Initial Error" thing, try some different card readers.
