well, when i get into dstt menu the games show up in a certain order, i wonder: i can change that?
cus it seems to randomly pick it up, and i want my most-played games at the top...

edit: aff double topic.

Perhaps it's doing it by file name instead of game name?
dont think so
as my game order goes like this:

-Inazuma Eleven
-The world ends with you
-Pokemon Black
-Harvest moon grand bazaar
-Elite Beat Agents
-Pokemon White
-Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days
-Inazuma eleven 2

so its nothing related to file name or weight :c

It sorts by Folder name, then File name.
Example

Root of the card is listed first, then folder /A, /B, etc.

So /Roms/0000-Zelda.nds would be listed before /Roms/MarioBros.nds
Or /Pokemon.nds would be listed before /Roms/AnimalCrossing.nds

i hope that's not confusing

Why not use YSMenu? it shows folders so your able to browse to your game via the file and folder names.

Also, the roms internal name is irrelevant. if you renamed Animal Crossing to Z.nds, it would be listed last (assuming its not in a directory such as "/a/" or otherwise.

i do have the ysmenu, but i run de ttmenu file cus i like the ttmenu, and your explanation isnt confusing... but i think is wrong
cus i have roms in the same folder... so technicaly elite beat agents should be the first one... also i have all my roms with the original name (elite beat agents is named elite beats agents.nds and so)

try renaming a rom to 1.nds and see if it lists first

EDIT: oh.. i dunno then.

it could possibly have somthing to do with where its located in the roms file system.

Use drivesort (google is your friend). It will sort files alphabetically and it is simple to use.
I use it to sort my roms A to Z (i will put the rom number at the end)

did not work lol
edit: so i asume that its random , cus now my pokemon white its on first place, and inazuma eleven at bottom lol

TTMenu has them in the order they were written to your SD card. Old games go first, new games last.

Q: How can I alphabetize my games in the menu?

The easiest and fastest way to sort your roms (takes about 20 seconds):

1. Create a new folder at the root of your microSD card named "games2".
2. Go into your "games" folder (or wherever you keep your .nds files).
3. Do a "select all" then "cut" (CTRL-A, CTRL-X).
4. Go to your new "games2" folder.
5. Do a "paste" then "select all" then "cut" (CTRL-V, CTRL-A, CTRL-X).
6. Go back to your (now empty) "games" folder.
7. Do a "paste" (CTRL-V).
8. Delete your "games2" folder.

Sorry, didn't mention that: your first sort the folder with the games, then you have to save it.
Works for me all the time.
