Hacking About 3DS Gateway n00b questions really...

hi,
what does anyone acctually know aboout gateway??
like how much will it cost?
do you have to have multiple sd's or can they all go one 1?
is it patchable as it looks like it is a genuine game card?
and will everything be recorded in that game log thing?
is it region-free?
only 3ds roms you can play on it???
and is the card going to have an update system as it auto starts the rom ?
