Homebrew A9LH to B9S via Micro SD Management?

(First off, apologies if this is a silly question! )

Would I be able to upgrade from A9LH to B9S while using MicroSD Management to transfer the needed files?

I ask as I have lost my Micro SD card adapter, and before I buy another one I wanted to check if this was an available option. Plus, I wanted to confirm if there were any additional risks posed by doing it this way.

Yes, I have done it with a friend's N3DS using Micro SD management

You just need to know what to put on the SD card before starting

yes, it is possible, because you are not going to overwrite anything (if you need to overwrite anything, you can do that in payload)

I've done it before yes. The only thing you can't do with microsd management alone is from b9s 1.0 to b9s 1.2.

Was thinking finally to update from luma6.6 via microSD management but there is to overwrite the arm9loaderhax.bin during the process so is it safe? And after follow this guide (...) the b9s version will be 1.3 and no need to another update, just a9lh to b9s in one go?
