Hacking A9LH to B9S Error, 3DS stuck on black screen

Was following https://3ds.guide/a9lh-to-b9s got to the installing B9S step. After I entered the combo code and hit A it said "3ds sighaxed firm was not installed". I had to force power it off by holding the power button. Now it's just showing a black screen, even if I hold start when powering on.

I had a ntr.bin on the root and deleted it to see if it would help. Also tried going through all the steps again a couple times, same result.

Clearing my home menu extdata fixed it, like the troubleshooting section of the guide said. I'm an idiot. Just going to leave this up in case it helps anyone else
