so i downloaded the latest commit of Aurora Wright's A9LH, so it can boot with no sd card.
after updating, i turned it on, the blue light was on and it didn't turn on. I removed the sd card and same thing. Please tell me i have a file in the wrong place, i really don't want to hardmod. Please help!

I have NAND Backups

so, the 3ds won't be back for another month, and the fieldrunners thing will take about a week because of the system transfer 1 per week rule.

if there is a way to bypass this, please let me know

I'm wondering, if Nintendo analyze your 3DS and find out the brick is A9LH related, won't they just send it back to you untouched? Are you just taking a chance this won't happen?

I don't think so, but i don't want to hardmod, so if this fails, i get a new 3ds, hopefully not on 11.0

If i get the same 3DS back, and not a different refurbished one, after i downgrade, is it safe to use my NAND backups? I know they aren't useable on another 3DS.

I don't see why not. If it's the exact same 3DS, your NAND backups should work as they are. You know your serial number, right?

Even if they find modding, I saw many people saying, that they just format the whole thing and update it to 11.0 ...

I really hope that is the case here *crosses fingers* :(
Be very careful. They might send you a different unit.

Also, if your NAND backup had A9LH, you can just restore that, right? And you'll have A9LH again. I might be wrong, but I'm quite positive this is the case.

i have written down the serial number, my NAND Backup has an old version of A9LH. I hope i get the same system so i don't have to downgrade to 2.1 again, that took a long time.
Using fieldrunnershax, could i just use NAND.bin as NAND.img using fwTool, or are they separate? If possible i could skip the downgrade step and use the backup to reinstall A9LH.
