So, I was starting from a clean slate for my a9lh installation, and I accidentally deleted my Emunand with my NNID on it through Emunand9. How can I go back and unlink it, or should I just create a new profile since I can just play any backup anyways? I have my Emunand backup that was signed into my NNID if that helps.

I don't really think this is a noob question either.

I would restore the EmuNand backup and grab the save files first :P
From there it really doesn't matter since you can either pirate everything you had and restore the saves to them, or stick to the EmuNand with all of your data :P

I recommend deleting the EmuNand partition from your SD and restoring the EmuNand backup to SysNand with Hourglass9. Less work

Ahh, I see, I'm just going to create another NNID. Even LESS work. :P #Lazyness

You should just be able to restore from your backup, and have everything work, unless you did a Format from the system settings or a system transfer.

I'm just going to create another NNID. Too lazy to restore a backup.
Lazy implies taking the way which takes the less effort.
But you aren't doing that.
Therefore I'd call this stupid rather than lazy.

It takes literally only 2 minutes to create an NNID, while restoring a backup takes up to 10 minutes. xD
No Idea how you are restoring your backups, but for me this takes about a minute. And is a passive thing.
While creating a NNID is an active thing.
(Therefore lazyness would go with the restore)

And you forgot the fact that installing the games will take a while.

Once I get A9LH installed, I can just update and create a new NNID. It's just my personal preference to leave something be if the initial time of performing the action has passed,

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Then installing the games takes hours...
Unless you aren't a pirate

You can just restore your emuNAND backup to sysNAND, as long as you use Hourglass9 or use Decrypt9's "keep A9LH" option.

And in the long run this is faster since it takes less of your time. Restoring from backup involves waiting on that, while creating a new NNID involves installing any saves and games.

Will I keep my NNID when I restore the Emunand to my Sysnand?

Do you need to unlink it? I made the same mistake and then just relinked the NNID on a9lh/Luma and it worked fine.
