Homebrew A working minecraft mod?

Hi, apologies if this has already been answered but anyone know the best way or have a tutorial on how to mod minecraft, all skins, textures, music and items etc...

I am running sxos 2.9.4

@DSSP Thank you very much for the guide, much appreciated.

However, I managed to get hold of a map (.mcworld) from mcpedl, I renamed it to .zip, extracted all the files and put it in a folder with the same name as the .mcworld file but when I restore the backup using checkpoint, the map/world does not show up in Minecraft.

What am I doing wrong?
