build id: This is the identifier of a specific build of a game. Cheats often (not always) don't work when this is not matching.
title id: This is the identifier of the game title. Sometimes different region may have different title id for the same game.
conditional key(button): If the code has a conditional key assigned the code is only active if enabled and the button is held.

Matching build id is normally the prerequisite for a cheat to show up.

Where the cheat file need to be placed:
/atmosphere/contents/<title id>/cheats/<build id>.txt for cheats to be automatically loaded when a game launch
/switch/EdiZon/cheats/<build id>.txt for cheats to be automatically loaded when edizon se launch (will move the cheat file to the above directory overwriting it).

Cheat database:
https://github.com/tomvita/NXCheatCode/releases/latest
Edizon se and Breeze will fetch it for you if you have internet connection. If you don't then get it from github and place the zip in
/switch/EdiZon/cheats/titles.zip or /switch/Breeze/cheats/titles.zip for EdiZon SE or Breeze respectively

Forcing a different built id to load:
You need to know most of the time the cheats won't work. With that in mind if you want to try your luck here is how.
1. Rename the file to match the built id.
2. Use Breeze's load any cheat file function.

Customizing cheats:
EdiZon SE
can change/assign a simple one button conditional key to a cheat code.
Breeze can change/assign a multi button combo as a simple conditional key to a cheat code.
Breeze support cheat code editing.
