The DS cannot connect to the internet without a WIFI Adapter, correct?

I apologize for this if it has been brought up and answered before.

not necessarily, if you have a wireless router, or can find a wireless hotspot that is using a non-encrypted network, your dsi should be able to connect to it. If Im thinking of what you mean by WIFI adapter, that should only be necessary if you have an etherenet connection for your computer, or w/e

Ah, alright, thank you. I have a Lite, no interest in a DSi for the time being.

Well, I don't know how much you know about the DSi, but don't completely rule it out! For the extra $70CAD(I suppose american will be more like $50) you get a whole bunch of neat features but thats not the best part. The speakers are actually adequite now, and in time the extra memory and CPU speed should be used for something useful, either in cool new games or sick homebrew (provided that they succesfully crack it). I'm just saying, do not rule anything out !!!
