Hacking A question regarding 3ds updates

Hi,

I was wondering if the 3ds automaticly updates the system without the user knowing ?
If true, is there a way to turn automatic updates off ?

Can i view new games in the eshop without updating the system ?

Automatic updates have nothing to do with updates eShop

Automatic updates (so far, at least) download the update automatically when Wi-Fi is available, but ask you to install them. They do not install before you click "ok".
