Gaming a plugin that spoofs your firmware

You can spoof higher firmware to PC or PS3 but not over the PSP's wireless as far as I know.

Yes there is, and no it doesnt work.
Because it just changes the text, you actually need the files thats in the (6.10/6.20) firmware.

GEN-D3 comes out on Tuesday, whether it will have a workaround or not is anybody's guess

i doubt you would be able to play online on D3.
Get saving for UMD's and buy a pandora.

I doubt future PSN store and online would be implemented anymore in any CFW, seeing as Sony could just patch it real fast...

If I recall correctly, they specifically stated they will not add online functionality because 1) piracy, and 2) Sony could respond by banning PSPs similar to what Microsoft does, otherwise they will find a way to prevent it in a timely fashion.

This is the way piracy has always worked. If you want to play online, then buy the game. Otherwise don't bitch.

They have given up patching PSN on future CFW (at least Team GEN) to avoid cheaters and ban at PSN.

They even sugested to use Xlink Kai/PS3's adhoc party if you want to play online.
