I do not have my wii modded (yet) and I am aware that online play works fine with mario strikers but I am a little curious about it. I've never played strikers but I've read that every online game for wii has friend codes. How then are friend codes unique if you are playing a copied game? Wouldn't the friend code be the same as the original's? Or are friend codes distributed in a different way?

The Code it's generated based on the Wii too, that's why it works.
