Hi, im just a little confused to this whole 3.3 update and homebrew and the Wii back up loader and cIOS thing...
I guess my main problem is i dont actually know what IOS and cIOS is to really understand what they do and why there are so many versions but here is the situation...
My mate has a PAL Wii, I installed the homebrew channel and cIOS V5 and WiiGator Back Up Loader on his Wii for him when he had V3.2E...
then WiiGator released his 0.3Beta and the new cIOS to go with it... but when i came to my mates Wii it had updated to 3.3E :S
The homebrew channel still updated to Beta 9 and installed cIOS 36 i believe and i still managed to install WiiGators new cIOS over the old one and install WiiGators 0.3 Beta Channel...
And then use homebrew to reinstall the 3.3U safe update...
My main confusion is, i thought the 3.3U stopped all homebrew from working so how comes i managed to still do all that or has none of it really worked???
