Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

SD will be prioritized. - When you launch the emulator from USB, and there is a SD card inserted without the Z-GX folder structure present, it will DSI crash. - 12 seconds pause before the game starts booting, affects build 20260811B. - Cover files do not load when you start the emulator from a USB device, yet it will load them if a SD card with the files is inserted before emulator launch. Should I wait for GH Aerosmith or buy GH3 instead? Help would be appreciated.

Depends, whether your are Aerosmith Fan or not.
The songs are nice in the current version. If you don't own any version, then this is worth a try.
Look out to get the version with already replaced disc, because of the mono sound bug. That must be the packages with a free face plate included. I haven't seen that version anywhere thought.
Bought it on release day and didn't regret it.
The Disc exchange was rather quick. (2-3 weeks)

If you get Aerosmith and juice the hell out of it, you'll have an easy time trading it with GH3.
Considering how there are plenty of used GH3's floating around, I would oppose buying a brand new GH3. Get used 3, or new Aerosmith.
