For long-term usage, get a 500GB (or bigger, as I expect USB Loader to support drives larger than 512GB in the future)

It depends on you, but it seems that there are some bugs when the size is over 300Gb. If you want more space, just make partitions smaller than 300Gb on your HD.

I'll buy a new one soon too. I think I'll go for a 1TB one, that's only 99 euro. And then a 350GB partition for the wii, that should be big enough.
