ROM Hack A Full KHDays English Patch

I'm not sure where this goes so can a moderator or administrator moveit please.

Basically I can read and speak Japanese.
Likewise English.

If someone, or many people are willing to decompole the rom and locate the text, I can translate it to English, recompile the ROM, and within a day max, wellhave an English ROM.
Anyone up for the job of finding the text and replacing it?

This should go in NDS - Hacking. Also, people are going to want proof that you can translate from Japanese to English.

I partially agree. I think it would be very nice/helpful to have a menu, item, and magic translation, but I don't think a FULL translation is necessary.

We think we've found the text but no idea how to open as they are in NFTR format and DAT.
Any ideas how we can open them?

I'm honestly going to wait, it aint worth the time, and bandwidth getting hold of this game. Plus i don't want to ruin my experience when it gets an English release.

Wait until this thread gets moved to the correct place, I'm sure some hacker will post and maybe help you out.

We found the Text files but they're in NFTR format and we can't read them correctly. We tried NFTREditor and it didn't work, then Notepad++ and we got random stuff.
Any suggestions?

In the meantime, you can try translating what I sent you in that PM so you can prove that you know Japanese. If you don't, I don't think anyone will bother to extract the text for you.

Ok bit did you use a translator? Because you've wrote words in letters like また where as normally you'd write又
