I actually got a fake sd card guys... after 16gb of space occupied, the sd card itself begins to corrupt the files.... after my process was finished, my second partition that was supposed to be fat32 formatted wasn't formatted at all and when I try to format, nothing happens.... contacted the guy who sold me the sd card and he will refund me tomorrow... today, i'm going myself to the store and buy a new one... the thing is... here in brazil, one of this cards on the store costs exact US$50,92 haha but that's how life is...

haha... actually, the guy that sold me the sd card was selling me an used one... what happened is that he was also fooled when he bought and "he did'nt know" (as he said) so, he recognized it was a bad thing and said he will refund me... maybe i am lucky after all

Hey guys... reporting back... put my hands on my new SD card... redNAND already running smooth on my Wii U hahah (happy for that) but.... installed MK8 dlc and something is weird with it... all characters is there... ok,, but... only 3 road cups were installed... one is still missing... ain't it weird? I've attached 2 pictures so you guys can see what i'm talking about... any help? installed the dlc twice and the same occurs.... maybe i have to redownload it? any suggestions? thanks for all ;D

Do you have a gold trophy in all of the cups? You may need to do that to unlock the last one.

Someone else had this issue a couple days ago, and getting gold in all the cups unlocked it.

Yup... not on the dlc roads tho as I installed it now... but on loadiine it was ok with the same save i dumped from my wii u with saviine... and when I try to select this last cup, it asks me to buy the DLC, like i don't own it... maybe was an error downloading? I'll try to download again and see what happens :T

Still the same here :/ I hope i'm not going off topic... redownloaded the DLC and the game update... reinstalled all and stills the same... downloaded a 100% savegame from internet, injected with saviine.... save loaded ok with everything unlocked but the last race cup :/ maybe it is because i'm using with a genuine disc? but.... all the other things from dlc loaded ok... don't know what to do next ;/

EDIT: SOLVED IT HAHAHA! about time! The thing is.. I was using uTikDownloadHelper to download the DLCs.... tried with FunKiiU and it worked haha (I also used System Config Tool to install the DLC, so I really don't know if it was because of FunKiiU or because i used System Config Tool to install...)

Worked, THANK GOD.... haha 05:42am now where I live hahaha I can sleep in peace now....

Tried the repacking guide as the steps indicate with a loadiine formatted EU game converted to US. Repacked just fine and even installs fine.
Upon booting game in rednand, it boots but freezes at the splash screen and am forced to hard reboot console.

Anyone else experiencing this?

So just to make sure; In theory the out of region repacking does not only do that, but also can take pretty much anything in fully loadiine format (with intact meta folder and all) and install that on REDnand - Fan Patched games files, Virtual console whatevs, no?

Except DLC, that is.

Let's take VC injections for example. It's something I've been working on for a couple of days now.
If you simply repackage the Loadiine injection to the installable format, the Wii U thinks it's update data.

Weird, I just repackaged TMS restoration patch myself and installing it currently. All was alright. BTW TMP files or whatever might be in your C-drive or something, sure ALL of your drives have enough space?

No, Tokyo Mirage Sessions is only thing installed on the USB and 2nd thing installed at all (other being SysConfigTool)

Update:
Repacked a Taiko Game and loadiine Puyo Puyo tetris, if neither works either then I am just abandoning usage of REDnand completely since it is not actually offering any net worth if nothing will work. I can wait for SALT team gladly as long as it works.

Small update in general info:
If you region swap a game for booting out of region from home menu, but it has an update, you have to region swap the update file too.
Which is done in the exact same way just small additional pain in the process.

EDIT:
OKAY I am officially giving up, I will not be using REDnand before Team Salt makes an update, people in general get better methods for region free, or whatever.

Repacking works very randomly, I could repack a taiko game and play it but it has an update. I cannot install the update as is because region mismatch. when I repacked the update and installed it the game crashes after startup.


Puyo Puyo tetris repack crashes on startup and if I add in the update it crashes RIGHT AFTER the splash screen goes over.

There just simply is not much of net worth in current redNAND at all when half of the shit I want to do with it is just crashing the console. Given I can install MOST games without additional step of internet browser, booting cfwbooter and booting cfw first, I really cannot but wait for team SALT here.

This was fun for the first few experiments but when most of shit just does not work it eats a man.

How did you type the command?
Did you already archive the game?
Are you already on the "installimage" portion?
