Who's going to read the first few pages of a 50+ page thread? That's why the how-to is kept as post #1.

So is the question mark a wildcard character? And what do + and - accomplish?

Anyway, I figured out how to change quest time records, as well as found the address for the time counter so quests could have infinite. But I can't find anything for enabling them. If I had save states....but I suppose that would be too easy.

? mark searches for anything... U should start with this one if u can only search using = and !
+ searches for an increased value and -searches for a decreased value

honestly, I think we should START by making humans following us, since they are cearly supported better by the game
oh and next time u find something inportant: make a pointer from it: rhen others can built further on wath u have found instead of starting from scratch again

But now I KNOW this is ASM,
since the game needs A LOT of things to make someone follow u

-sprite
-name
-the pokemon he uses (if he has any)
-does he heal u after battle
-what does he say when u talk to him
-...

but, i cant make a pointer without hasteds and the only one i found was in a big bundle with Narin's stuff, i dont want to download what i already have

lol i kno wat u mean, cheatin kills the game, but this isnt much of a cheat as it is a kind of 'add-on'. ur only makin a pokemon followin u, not making ur pkmn stronger

sure, in Hearthome city, a wonderful place filled with happy people and many things to entertain the community, including a contest hall which hold pokemon contests, a pokemon gym for those adrenalin junkies and amity square, a park in which you may walk with your pokemon and enjoy the scenery together.

think i can get into selling real estate?

we are trying to reproduce the effect of amity square (having pokemon follow you)

Edit: found Hasteds, but even following tutorial exactly, i cant find pointer, it just doesnt show up with any codes

that's becouse pointer tool failes a lot,
I' ll try it using the debugger

but tell me exactly how u found the adress (also 8-16-32 bit search, wich one u used) and I'll try it using the debugger

I tryed finding the adress myself but I failed to reproduce the effect

ok, its in 16 bit
1. search 0
2. go into amity square, say yes to walk with pokemon, search 256
3. leave, search 0 again
4. look for an address that looks like 27F0?? (it will always change the last 2 digits)
5. add 1 to that adress, so that if it was 27F0B9, it would be 27F0BA
6. test it to make sure (I used a button activator, so that if I pushed the button before entering, it would just turn me away
7. you should now have one of the addresses

so it would look like 122F07?? 00000001 if in AR codes section

For GTA Chinatown Wars there's a cash code, "Press Select+Left To Increase Cash"

I was wondering if the buttons for this code could be changed. it's a pain to keep pressing the select button

something like Press R + Left

how to send a pokemon save game:

in your flash card, when you are browsing through it through your windows explorer or whatever, in the same folder as your Pokemon Platinum .nds file, should be the same name as your game as a .sav file (for example if its PokePlat.nds, it will be called PokePlat.sav

if you are using no$gba, some deal, whatever folder your game is in, the .sav file will be there 2. this .sav file is what you need to send on here.

i don't know exactly how to send the sav file on this website because i have never sent anything, but i would right click on the .sav file, and "add to archive" (making it .zip format) because i know that most sites support this. maybe try sending that .zip file to the email of the person you want to send it to?
